Stacking the Shelves (3)

Hosted by Tynga's Reviews

This week Penguin Young Readers was very nice to us! We received three titles from authors we love.

What did you get this week? Please share! (At the store, we are redoing our inventory and I would love to know what you consider MUST-HAVES for books this upcoming winter season!)

Happy reading,

  2. Ohhh, Virtro! I haven't read Origin yet, but it's mostly because my library doesn't have it (I'm a broke bookworm, unfortunately). I'm kind of hinting at it since it's the Christmas season. ;)

  3. That's awesome that you got Starling! I really liked that book. I didn't like Venom very much, I enjoyed Belladonna, but I found that Starling was the best of three. Fiona Paul did a fabulous job with that book.

I didn't read Origin - probably won't - but I know Vitro is a companion novel. I hope you enjoy that one! If you do, I might request it from Penguin. I really shouldn't though lol - same with The Impossible Knife of Memory.

    Have a great weekend!

  4. Wow nice haul! I also got Vitro and The Impossible Knife of Memory, both of those look really great and I am really excited. Haven't seen Starling before but it looks good. My STS.

  5. This is totally late but I was just going through all of y'all's blog posts. OMFG. STARLING!!! I absolutely ADORE the series (NO BIAS even if Fiona's one of my friends >_>) and Falco. Gawd.

Everyone's been talking about The Impossible Knife of Memory and it sounds just amazing.

Vitro sounds super cool too and I LOVED Origin (seem to be in the minority though!)
