Impostor by Jill Hathaway

What if a killer took control of you?
Vee Bell’s gift (or curse) of “sliding”—slipping into the mind of another person and experiencing life, briefly, through his or her eyes—has been somewhat under control since she unwillingly witnessed the horrific deaths of her classmates six months ago.
But just as things are getting back to normal, Vee has a very bizarre experience: she loses consciousness and finds herself in a deserted area, at the edge of a cliff, with the broken body of the boy who took advantage of her on the rocks below.
As Vee finds herself in stranger and stranger situations with no memory of getting there, she begins to suspect that someone she knows has the ability to slide—and that this “slider” is using Vee to exact revenge on his or her enemies.

I read Impostor by Jill Hathaway, the follow up to Slide and loved it! I loved Slide and I loved Imposter even more. With Rollins and Vee’s relationship heating up it adds the perfect touch to the mystery book to pick up where things left off in the Slide. The plot keeps you always involved and looking for what’s coming next, but the end is something that you really won’t see coming. I think Vee is very strong which makes her a really great main character and made me want to see what she did with every situation she was faced with. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down and every chapter just pulled me in even more. I’d highly recommend reading this book series.

This book hits shelves March of 2013!

Happy reading!

  1. I have a signed copy of Slide that's been sitting on my bookshelf for way too long (I was planning to read it for Halloween...but then I read Gretchen McNeil's TEN instead.) I am glad that the sequel only gets better! I a always scared of series sequels because more often than not, they end up disappointing.

    Thanks for the review!

    1. I agree! My friend said she liked this one just as much, which is good to find in sequels! Ohhh TEN....I still need to read it but I heard it was good!
