I have two words for this trilogy: beautifully claustrophobic. This book falls perfectly in succession with Across the Universe, and takes the reader on a treasure hunt throughout Godspeed, a mega-spaceship filled with secrets and surprises. Everything you thought you learned from Across the Universe? Wrong. From the moment I started this series I couldn’t put it down – I don’t think I have ever been so surprised by the twists and turns in a book before. The novels create their own secluded world, which still connects to struggles back here on Sol-Earth, even though the society is frighteningly advanced. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to readers age 15-18, especially if they like books like The Hunger Games or Shatter Me.
